Habitat: Found in moist to wet woods and open seepage areas.
Leaf Description: Leaves are triangular-oval, in whorl of 3 just below flower.
Flower and Petal Description: Grows from short, stout rhizomes. Flowers are solitary, 3 broad, white petals and 3 narrow, green sepals beneath;
Fruit Description: Fruits are oval, green, berry-like capsules, seeds have oily appendage.
